BCUSER woks with developer key in the MiniSAP. But - those above mentioned keys do not work for function groups with S. named programs and so on. For there are 3 types of keys: 1.License key (for the SAP system), 2.Developer key (enables the user to create/modify/remove programs and developer objects) and the.

Here is a simple trick to get the developer key from SAP system itself.

1. SAP Developer Key and Access Key What is Developer Key and why it is required: Whenever the ABAP developer wants to make changes to any of the SAP customized objects (i.e. The objects/programs that is there in the “Z” namespace) it require a Developer Key which is used to register user with SAP.
2. In SAP systems SAP developer keys are stored in ABAP table DEVACCESS known as 'Table for development user' used by DEVELOPERKEYCHECK and DEVELOPERCHECK function modules as reference data. Besides development users and corresponding developer keys ADIRACCESS SAP table stores object keys for TADIR objects in that SAP system.

You don't really need to go to marketplace to get a Developer Access Key. You can get it from the table DEVACCESS using transaction SE16.
To request for a new developer key, follow these steps:
Log on to the URL http://service.sap.com/sscr with your SAP S-user

Enter the user name(s) and select the Installation for which the developer key is required

The key will be displayed in the same screen or you can check from Developer Registered by Me or in DEVACCESS table as described earlier.
